My main therapeutic orientation is cognitive-behavioral, which examines ways that healthier thoughts create greater emotional well-being. But I also utilize a variety of strategies and techniques depending on the specific needs of the client. With empathy, respect, and humor, I create a safe space for all my clients to heal and grow.
Life at home with my husband, two daughters, my labrador, and my chihuahua is certainly busy! In my spare time, I love to read a good book, do hot yoga and play lacrosse. At Muhlenberg College I played four years of lacrosse. Being captain of the team taught me to be a leader, the importance of good sportsmanship, and how to work well with others as a team player. I incorporate these skills into the therapy I practice as well as my life!
